  1. Short: 3 programs that maniuplate path/file names.

  6. Three small commands which can manipulate a paht/file name.
  7.  
  8. BASENAME will extract the base filename from a path/filename, and optionally
  9. remove a suffix.
  10.  
  11. TACKON will take a path and file name and append the filename to the path.
  12.  
  13. PATHNAME will take a path/filename and stip off the filename, returning the
  14. pathname only.
  15.  
  16. The source, in Oberon-2 is included.
